About Gigi Gilliard

A celebrated public speaker, Gigi is an accomplished writer, corporate trainer, career and executive coach. Often sought after as a keynote speaker and Mistress of Ceremonies for various affairs, Gigi has been an outspoken and prolific DE&I practitioner in the corporate space for the last decade.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communications from Rutgers University, and is currently pursuing an Executive Masters in Organizational Development from Cornell University’s School of Industrial Labor Relations.

She has coined the moniker DEI&B and believes that creating the sentiment of belonging is a crucial, and often missed, part of the inclusion conversation. Gigi is also the proud author of both “The Loud, Brown, Round Girl” and “The Inclusion Code” (both publishing in 2020).

A member of the Society for Diversity; Gigi is a former Toastmaster; a member of ATD and SHRM; a long-time member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; and is a charter member of the Greater Bronx (NY) Chapter of The Links Incorporated – both renowned African-American women’s service organizations

A native and resident New Yorker, Gigi is devoted to her faith, family, and equality; and is focused on sharing principles of belongingness and inclusion to those interested in championing these crucial behavioral changes in their workspaces… and in their lives.
